Wiring diagrams
Reference drawings for laying out and connecting your converter. Your panel's own diagram, supplied with the unit, always takes priority over anything here.
Diagrams are for planning and reference. Wiring must be performed by a licensed electrician, with the supply locked out, following the National Electrical Code, local code and the labels inside your enclosure.
Standard control panel (GP)
Single-phase input, panel terminals, idler motor connections and three-phase output for a standard general-purpose panel.
AutoLink / compressor & HVAC duty
Auto-start control wiring for compressors, HVAC and other loads that cycle on their own without someone at the panel.
Pushbutton & monitor panel (PL)
Start/stop pushbutton station and voltage monitor wiring, including the control circuit and indicator connections.
Transformer package (NLT / PLT)
Converter feeding a step-up or step-down transformer package, with primary, secondary and bonding arrangement.
DualZone system
Feeding two separate areas or panels from one converter, showing zone distribution and load balance points.
Grounding and bonding detail
Equipment grounding conductor routing for the panel, idler motor frame and each driven machine.
Multiple machines on one converter
Load distribution, starting the largest motor first, and sub-panel breaker arrangement.
